Prime Contractor Triton Construction is scheduled to begin placing temporary barrier along WV 622 North, with no change to current traffic pattern. Contractor will continue placing elliptical pipe and manholes along Sun Valley Drive with flaggers controlling traffic on Washington St. West as needed. The project will have multiple Sub-Contractors on site beginning various items of work behind installed temporary barriers. Work will include excavation of existing roadway, sidewalks and areas for planned retaining walls. This work will be on-going. Access to area businesses will be maintained during construction. No work is scheduled for the weekends.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL: Temporary Traffic Control Phase (12) in place 10/05/23 – WV 622 partial lane closure northbound between intersection with WV 62 (Cross Lanes Dr / Washington St. W) and the Kroger/AJMS intersection. Northbound traffic moved to center turn lane. Temporary traffic control signage, cones, and roadway striping in place. Digital message boards are in place denoting new traffic pattern ahead
